Memorial Service for Mary Anton, January 5

We are sorry to let you know that Mary Anton, a longtime member, has left the body. We will hold a memorial service for  her this Saturday, January 5 at 3 pm.

Mary was born on December 10, 1930 the 8th of 9 children to Greek immigrants in Bettendorf, Iowa. While growing up she was drawn more to socializing than studying, which aided her later in life. She moved to Los Angeles with one of her sisters and eventually met and married her first husband, Bill Simmons. She had her first child with him, Ellen. She worked as a secretary for many years for different oil companies, and eventually left to get her real estate license. Her need to improve herself led her to Vedanta where she met her second husband, Ted
Renz. She had her second child, Naren. She’d been having health problems and Ted found Shaklee much to her dismay, as none of the nutritionists she listened to ever talked about the company. Out of desperation she tried the products and they changed her life. The next 46 years she spent changing people’s lives with Shaklee, earning dozens of trips, cars and living life to the fullest and bringing joy and happiness to everyone she met.
