Trabuco Canyon Monastery

The monastery will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The grounds, including the bookstore, will also be open during these hours.

From Monday to Thursday the monastery will remain CLOSED.

Honey sales and bookstore shopping will be available by appointment during the days when the monastery is closed. To make an appointment, please call 949-326-3067 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During bookstore appointments, the shrine, trails, and all grounds will remain CLOSED. Masks are required. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Picnics and pets are not allowed in the monastery.

The monastery sits atop 40 acres of largely undeveloped rolling hills in Trabuco Canyon. The monks maintain the buildings and grounds of the monastery which include a shrine, a shrine trail honoring the world’s major religions, and a bookstore.

The monastery runs a service project called Holy Mother Mission that gives service to the needy. It is run by the monks and devotees of the monastery.
