Welcome to the Vedanta Temple in Hollywood, California, USA.
The temple was completed and dedicated in
1938.

This is the Greenhouse where the Vedanta Society of Southern
California began. In the late 1920s, it was the home of Mrs. Carrie
Wyckoff (one of the Mead sisters) who donated it to the Vedanta
Society.

Coming down Vedanta Terrace from Vine St. The building on the
left is the Greenhouse.

This room was originally built for Swami Prabhavananda, the
founder of the Vedanta Society of Southern California. Swami
Swahananda, our head minister, now lives here.
