Swami Tyagananda, the head of the Ramakrishna Vedanta Society in Boston, will be visiting Santa Barbara on January 22, Friday at 6:30pm. The subject of his talk will be “Learning How to Learn”.
After the talk, there will be a Potluck Supper at the Convent.
Then on Saturday, January 23, the Swami will hold a retreat from 10:00am to 2:30pm in the Pavilion on “Walking the Walk: Practicing Karma Yoga”.

Pravrajika Gitaprana, a former Hollywood nun, and now head of our Vivekananda Retreat in Ridgely, New York, will be visiting Santa Barbara on January 12. While here, she’ll give a talk on “Every Day is Kalpataru Day” in the Temple on Tuesday, at 6:30pm.

Swami Atmajnanananda from the Vedanta Society of Greater Washington, DC, will be giving a special talk on Tuesday at 6:30pm on “A Horseman Hidden in the Dust”.
The talk will be followed by a potluck dinner in the convent. All are welcome to attend.
