Earth’s Religions Contemplate The Cosmos
Saturday, June 24th, 3:00 – 6:00 pm

Some ancient religious myths tell us that it all began in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, and a serpent. Others, that we are riding on the back of a giant turtle through space.

Modern science has given us a new look into the Cosmos and perhaps now, more than ever, we need to reconsider who we are if we are to transcend this current paradigm shift in a rapidly changing world.

We invite you to join us for an interactive, interfaith event to examine our place in the Cosmos.

A panel of various faith leaders will respond to audience questions before we break into groups to share our understanding. A social gathering will conclude this vital and exciting look at who we are.

Panelists include:

  • Rev. Jeff Utter (Neighborhood Christian Church – Christian)
  • Rabbi Neil Comess-Daniel (Beth Shir Shalom – Judaism)
  • Vice-Abbott Douglas Sutton (Dari Rulai Temple – Buddhist)
  • Swami Sarvadevananda (Senior Monk, Vedanta Society – Hindu)
  • Prof. Zaman Stanizai (Poet and scholar – Muslim)
  • Rt. Rev. Brian Keneipp (Executive Director, The Aetherius Society – New Thought)
  • Dr. Linda Groff (Emeritus Prof. Cal. State University, Director, Global Options and Evolutionary Futures Consulting – Interfaith Minister)
  • Linda Hansen (Public Affairs Director, Santa Monica Stake – Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints)

This event will take place at:
